System requirements

UltraVox XT 4 runs on Windows 10 Pro, 22H2, and Windows 11 Pro, 23H2 and 24H2. It is not designed for use with the Touch features of Windows.

If you have UltraVox XT 3.x, version 4 does not replace your current version! You can install UltraVox XT 4 aside earlier versions. 

If you have UltraVox XT 3.x or earlier, this is not a free upgrade; you will need a license file before you can use the full version. To use the evaluation version, click Evaluate UltraVox XT in the start screen. Otherwise click Request License or contact your Sales representative to purchase an upgrade.

To install UltraVox XT

• We recommend to turn off the automatic updates for hardware device drivers. You should leave on the automatic updates for the rest of Windows.
• To install UltraVox XT, download the installation package, extract the contents on your PC and double-click the Setup.exe file.

To use UltraVox XT

• Download the UltraVox XT Quick Start Guide. You can find this guide in the Documentation tab. This will also guide you through the installation process, connecting the microphones and additionally explain how to setup your experiments. 
• To have UltraVox XT Help available on another computer than the one with UltraVox XT installed, download the pdf or the zip file and extract the zipped folder. You can find the Help file in the Documentation tab
