Fixing Scaling Issues on High DPI Displays (Windows 10)

If you are using a high DPI display, some interface elements in Noldus software may appear too small or become cropped and difficult to use. This issue can be resolved by changing the application's display scaling behavior in Windows.

Steps to Adjust DPI Compatibility Settings

  1. Right-click the shortcut icon of the application you want to adjust.
    • If the shortcut is pinned to the taskbar, right-click it once, then right-click the program name again.
  2. Select Properties.
  3. Go to the Compatibility tab.
  4. Click Change high DPI settings near the bottom of the window.
  5. Check the box for Override high DPI scaling behavior.
  6. From the dropdown menu below, select System (Enhanced).
  7. Click OK, then OK again to close the Properties window.
  8. Launch the application and verify that the interface now appears correctly scaled.
